I accomplished my goal quickly and exceeded it by 27 pins. That's right I Bowled a 277. Can you believe that? I sure didn't. I only needed one more strike to make a perfect game. My new goal is a 600 series by Dec. 31 I am determined and excited to get it!
The Football game on Sat. was a good one. I enjoyed it a lot and of course I enjoyed the benefit of seeing my sweetheart. He just doesn't know how excited I am that I will just be able to sit next to him while he is home doing his homework or studying. I just miss it so much.
In other news I finished up my training today in Greensboro. I am now certified through the Red Cross to go and help with disasters if any may strike. It was good info but boring and long. For those of you who know that I can't sit still for very long You know how easily distracted I am. Traffic there and back was a big pain in the you know what. I left the house before the sun came up this morning and I still got stuck on 40. I'm just glad that it's done. woohoo
So I think I'm gonna try out this grief counseling thing but only one time. I'm dealing with my issues my way and I don't think that talking to someone I don't know it going to do me much good. But I don't have a choice mom is also making me go.
Well the Oral Surgeon says I need all 4 Wisdom Teeth extracted. Lets just say that's going to be fun. The surgery in supposed to be on the 28th of Dec. What a way to bring in the New Years!
I'm out! Peace <3

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly!
Hmmm where to begin.
Bowling has been pretty fun and I have enjoyed the company. My new all time high record is 226 and my goal is a 250 by Dec. or somewhere about there. :-)
The Dixie Classic Fair was pretty fun but kinda expensive. I think all together I spent almost 50 dollars. I still have some cotton candy to finish!
Last weekend I went to go see Bryan. It was so wonderful just to be able to see him and hold him close. We had a great time and I enjoyed the time we got to spend together. I'm looking forward to seeing him this coming up weekend. I just need a hug and some love.
BUT... I have struggled a lot with the long distance here in the last couple of weeks. I can't really explain the feeling but it's there. I guess a lot of it has to do with missing my dad a lot too. The two most important men in my life are not here with me. Yea dad is with me is spirit and Bryan is 100 miles away and only a phone call away, but it's just not like it used to be. I think that my emotions have finally smacked me in the face and the one person that I want to talk to most is too busy. I'm needing that loving embrace that seems to last forever and never end. Someone to tell me that everything is going to be okay and that I will get through and overcome what lies ahead.
Work work work is all I seem to do or that's the way that it feels sometimes. If I'm not at work I'm in class or at the Bowling Alley. But work it going pretty good. I love my MWF and I'm still adjusting to my T-TH's. I have just now began to adjust to getting up before the Sun and not going to bed till after 12. I just nap in the afternoons when I have free time. hehe
It's about that time! Goodnight! :-) Much Love

A Little Lonely & Left Out.
I am beginning to not like long distance anymore and I'm not saying that I am going to do anything drastic. Don't get me wrong I love Bryan with all my heart and I would never do anything to break his heart. I just feel so left out in his world. Communication is so limited and it's like I am forgotten. He will tell you otherwise and I know that I'm not really forgotten, but when you never get to talk it only makes the distance harder. I understand completely about how busy he is cause I am too. I am just as guilty about trying to keep in touch. I love to hang out with my friends and all but it's just not the same. I'm glad that he is having a good time cause I want him to enjoy college and have those memories. .... Maybe I'm just being selfish, heck if I know.
It's just been one of those days where I wish he was here. I mean for heaven's sake I got hit on tonight by Allen who I thought was my friend. He thought that it would be cool while we were all hanging out at the campfire and try to smack/grab my butt and make comments about it. To be completely honest deep down I'm really tired of being hit on by other guys. It just makes me feel dirty to know that all these guy are thinking nasty thoughts about me. I can tell you this, Me, Myself and I won't be hangin out with him anymore unless it can't be helped. He is a Royal Jerk.
I'm just having one of those moments where My emotions are taking over. It's close to that time of the month and everything just makes me cry. Give me and week and I'll be just fine.
So now that I have vented I'm good and now it is time for bed. Goodnight.

How about them Tar Heels?!?
Went to the Carolina Game on Saturday. We lost 22-20. Better luck next time. But.. I did get to see my sweetie and boy I did enjoy it hehe ;-) I truly miss spending time with him more than anything. I can't wait till he gets to come home.
I bowled my first 500 series Thursday night and then I turned around and bowled another one on Friday night! I wasn't expecting to get a 500 series but hey I'll take it!
Today was Homecoming at church so there was lots of good food to enjoy after the service mm mm yum yum I also got to see a lot of people that I haven't seen in a long time. It was good to catch up and talk to them.
I practiced @ NorthSide today and bowled awful. I need a ball specifically for very oily lanes. My ball works better when the lanes are dry. Tracy was trying to convince me to join a league, so I think next summer I just might give it a go. I never know what I might accomplish.
That's all for now. Peace

BLAHHH....Literally
Finding time to update has been tough... I apologize.
I went to the Stokes County Fair Lat night with my new friend Chris. It was awesome cause I got in for free woo hoo! but I ended up getting sick later from one of the rides. My bad for eating before I went.. whoops
The beach was fun this past weekend and I'll just leave it at that. :-)
Work had been kicking my butt, Getting up before7 on the morning is just not my thing nor do I like it very much.
I bowled a 192 last Thursday. Not to shabby hehe everyone else bowled great as well!
I have enjoyed being occupied with stuff it keeps my mind focused on what's in front of me and less on what I really miss.
Well this is about all the time I have. Just call me cause that is about the only way you will ever get in touch. Peace

Life in the Fast Lane
I apologize for the delay in posting. Things have been a lil more busy than usual.
Where to start... Umm Friday I decided to try to get a new copy of my Drivers License @ the DMV. Well I went to Mt. Airy first thinking that I would be in and out in no time. I was wrong, there were 20 or so people ahead of me in line. I said screw it and decided to try the one on Patterson Ave. That was a bad idea. There were 30 or so people at that one. So my attempts were pointless and I wasted a bunch of gas in the process.
I went to the West Stokes football game Friday night. I did go and pick up Britt. There really wasn't but a few people I saw that I knew. I did see Donita and Tommy there. Miranda was there and Rebekah was there too. The band sounded pretty good to be one of the first home games. Sad part was.. we lost.
Saturday night was the cookout at Donnie's House. It was nice to get to see all the family again. AND the food was wonderful! Poor lil ole Landyn was so tired and fussy though.
Also on Saturday afternoon I went driving around to get some resources that I have to have for one of my classes. I have to make a resource file full of informational items available for parents and children in Stokes, Forsyth and Surry county. Lets just say that I found some things but with it being a Saturday and everything being closed I really didn't get all that I wanted.
Sunday church was good. After Church the Family and I went to IHOP for Lunch. It sure was good. Yum yum. I ordered a breakfast sampler plate.
It was nice to have a week free of work. But I was sad when it all came to an end. I enjoyed sleeping in and being lazy! :-)
Today was Orientation for the new job. It was informational but it was also boring. I have to endure a whole week of this. By Friday I will probably have pulled all my hair out. Only good thing is I get paid for the miles, and that my friend is awesome!
Class tonight was good. I'm not sure how this semester is going to roll yet, but with work, school, and bowling I'm never going to have anytime for a social life. That makes me sad :-(
Carolina Game this weekend! WooHoo I'm so looking forward to it! How else do you think I'm going to get through this week in one piece. hehe
Well I think that about covers it, I'll post again soon to let you know how the rest of this week goes.
Peace

Sweet Emotion
I've tried using Picasa to load pictures onto my blog. Well It's being a huge pain in the you know what. It all works great except for the web part. I have to manually load then 5 at at a time instead of a Folder at a time. Help!?!
I got a call from Donita today and I will be Bowling with her, Jill and Scott on Thursday nights. I'm really excited about that. I will also be bowling on Friday nights with Tommy. It's so cool that I get to Bowl with Bryan's whole family! :-) I feel like such a part of the family!
Speaking of Bryan I got to talk to him today! YAY! We got to play catch up with each other hehe. Distance is such a rough thing but It makes what we have stronger.
I get to go to the beach the weekend of the 7th of September. I'm so very excited!
Here is a quote of the day for you to ponder:
Infantile love follows the principle: "I love because I am loved."
Mature love follows the principle: "I am loved because I love."
Immature love says: "I love you because I need you."
Mature love says: "I need you because I love you."

Time After Time...When All That's Left Is You
I had an great weekend with Amanda. It was so great to get to see her and Chase. He is so adorable, I will have pictures coming soon! He loves his Auntie Jenn Jenn.
Melissa and I went bowling @ NorthSide Friday afternoon. We ended up bowling beside of a coach and he gave some awesome tips to help improve my game. It was wonderful to get more good advice. He said that Melissa and I were pretty good bowlers and to keep practicing. Watch out Rural Hall Lanes cause here I come to kick some butt!
I went for My AmeriCorps Interview this morning and passed it with flying colors! Orientation starts next week! I'm really excited to get this job and to have an income again.
Classes started today. I have two this semester. One on Monday nights 7-8:50, and one on Wednesday nights 6-7:25. Both are in Stokes county and both are 5 min. from the house. The closer the better, it saves me some money.
Even though this was a wonderful weekend away from home I still missed my Sweetheart very much. I just have to think positive and know that I will see him again soon.
This is going to be a very quiet lonely week.

What an Adventure
So I went to a Warthogs game tonight with Angela and Maria. Let me tell ya it was quite an adventure. AND it was hot hot hot!
When we got there, 100.3 the buzzard had a table there at the front gate. Well I walked over to it and was looking at the display. Then I said that I heard on the radio that they were going to be at the game. That was the magic words and I won a free ball and some stickers. Now how cool is that, I never win anything.
We got to sit right behind home plate in the home side. That was such a great spot. You could see the entire game from where we were sitting. They were throwing out little baseballs and I caught one so now I have one of those too. The Wart hogs won the game but I really don't remember the score I couldn't really see the score board.
So the fun part happened after the game. Angela's van tire went flat during the game. She had run over something earlier on the way to the game but we didn't think anything about it. So I got to change a tire. Did a pretty dang good job too cause it got us home!
So I have decided to do the AmeriCorps program and see how it goes. It's really good money and experience. It pays 1100 dollars a month and give a 4700 dollar bonus at the end of the year to help pay off school loans. I think at this moment, This is the best thing that I can do. I will also receive full health benefits.
I am going to Amanda's this weekend and I am super excited. I miss hangin out with her.
It still doesn't seem like Bryan has left for school. Like today when it was 5 o'clock I was thinking that he would call and tell me that he was home from work but I forgot that he wasn't here anymore. But I sure did miss him and realize that he was gone last night when I didn't have anyone to cuddle with. It was just me and teddy. And I sure am glad he found his class ring, cause that is one expensive piece of jewelry.
So I am signing up for 2 classes this fall and the start on Monday. I don't even have my books or anything ready, I'm just gonna jump right in. Mom says that she can't afford more then two and that I shouldn't take to many while I am doing the AmeriCorps program.
Well that is about it for now. More to come when I return from Amanda's!
